#NoHijabDay

So this day happened earlier this month.

‘If you are free to not wear hijab for one day then don’t wear hijab, in solidarity with with women without that freedom’

Poor grammar was replicated as it was in the original statement. Let’s just get straight into it.
Do I wear a scarf on my head as an accessory? A fashion statement? Do I wear this for fun, in that I just take it off whenever I want? Who are you, even?
I feel for the women who are forced to wear hijab, but that doesn’t mean I should take mine off. As if when I take it off, other women magically gain freedom. Even if they did, I still wouldn’t.
Soz
Wearing hijab should be a choice, but it’s also obligatory in Islam. Why should another woman take hers off in ‘solidarity’.
Hijab is more than just a cloth on your head. It’s modesty, it’s your character and behaviour. Since you want to take it off in celebration of ‘no hijab day’, why don’t you spend the day being shitty to every single person you meet, brag about everything and just generally be a despicable human being. Remove your humbleness. Remove your good character. Remove your hijab.
The Muslim women who actually participate in it disgust me and clearly don’t understand the meaning of hijab. For these women, it is just a fashion statement. I don’t know much about this trend apart from that it grew as a hashtag on twitter. IMAGINE. Imagine having to answer to Allah and tell Him you took off your hijab for an internet trend? Won’t that be fun.
And, a side note, to those people who bitch about parents making their daughters wear hijab before they even know what it means…literally all parents dress their kids. Nobody talks shit about the Jews who make their children wear caps. Or the Christians who make their children go to Church. I’m sure your kids want to walk around naked or just in pants or even dressed as a hot dog everywhere they go. That you don’t give them this choice must be oppression. That you dress your girls in pink dresses and not ‘boys’ clothes is oppression and adhering to society’s strict rules on gender. How dare you.
If women around the world are forced to wear hijab, what is a hashtag going to do, please? How is women taking off their hijab for a day going to help? Why is it only non-hijab wearing women  and non-Muslims that are supporting this? Moreover, why do non-Muslim women get a say in telling MUSLIM WOMEN TO TAKE OFF THEIR HIJAB. THE LITERAL WHOLE THING IS GETTING MUSLIM WOMEN TO TAKE IT OFF. ARE YOU BLIND. DO YOU NOT SEE HOW ISLAMOPHOBIC AND DIVISIVE THIS IS??
Obviously not.
Because this is literally an attack on women who wear the hijab, which is just as bad as those who are forced to wear it.
There were feminists saying that ‘all women should support no hijab day for women around the world’. Excuse me? In support of other womens oppression, you’re trying to oppress ME by telling me I have to TAKE IT OFF? This hashtag is honestly just a way for selfish, islamophobic feminists to get what they want. If you truly cared, you’d find a way to actually solve and gain awareness about this problem without alienating a massive group of people.
I also watched this video by a dirty Zionist who is a prime example of people who don’t know anything, calling the hijab anti-feminist. I admit I almost lost a few brain cells. If you don’t wear hijab, who are you to say it’s ‘not liberating’? I said it’s liberating for me, I’m sorry that you’re so oppressed by society.
Because it’s not about men. We don’t wear it because we want to be respected!!!! We wear it because it’s obligatory!!!! Feminists are so stupid and think everyone is out to attack them!!! The hijab isn’t a feminist statement, which is why no hijab day is Islamophobic, and not in support of women who are forced.

But… hypothetically, let’s say no hijab day is simply in support of all women, because of the women who are forced to wear it.
So we have to take off our hijab, but what do non-hijab wearing women have to do? They don’t wear hijab, so exactly what are they doing in support of these women?
I suggest that non hijab wearers must go to the most dangerous and Islamophobic parts of the world whilst wearing hijab, with the risk of getting attacked or killed for it. That shows support for all women, including those who do wear hijab.
It sucks that some women are forced to wear hijab, but some people are also killed for various reasons around the world, and you don’t see anybody committing suicide in support.
I hate feminism.
