Today’s prompt: Your top priorities
Today is a shit day. So God’s work is here, telling me that my next prompt means I have to focus on my priorities right now. I don’t have the will to write an interesting introduction either, so let’s get straight to it because life is shit, life is shit.
Physical health
I want to get my sleeping pattern back in check, I want to eat properly and I want to train even more and even harder than I used to. Once you’ve passed your teens it is vital to look after your health – you can’t keep staying up late snacking and drinking energy drinks. And once you’ve passed a certain age, your metabolism slows down dramatically and you get fat and lazy. Basically. So why wait for that age to begin (which is harder to do), when you can get the ball rolling years beforehand?
Financial stability
I’m graduating next month. These past two weeks were supposed to be used for writing cover letters and applying for jobs, but Ramadan has me so lethargic and unless you’re looking for a standard part-time job, you need to focus. I haven’t really decided what I’m doing yet. I had to quit my job and I’ve been a student without income for the past few months, which means for the first time ever I am worried about money and will be struggling for fucks fucking sake. You have bills to pay and no way to pay them. But it was my own fault. Even though I’m in a shit place and I’m months behind, I guess now I have my degree behind me. On the one hand, I want to kickstart a career. But on the bigger hand I don’t want to kickstart a career. I kinda do want a part time job so that I can get some income to pay for my outgoings whilst I work on something I enjoy. A life in an office isn’t something I want. Read more

Today’s prompt: Your best qualities
Oh dang. Time to toot my own horn.
Okay
Let’s do this in list form because it feels more uniform and factual and not like I’m trying to show off.
1] I voted labour
I care. Even if I was a millionaire, I would vote labour. Even if I didn’t care about other people, even if I didn’t need the NHS, even if I didn’t want to be heavily taxed in order to help the poor. I would never want a person like Theresa May making the decisions of this country. And I just wanna say, before this list really begins, if Corbyn doesn’t win, I WILL cry myself to sleep tomorrow night.
2] I’m realist
But I can also be a hopeless romantic. I can be positive in the right situations, but overall I’m a realist. That way I’m never too disappointed. I can be passionate but I can also think logically. And I think that’s the best combination to be. I think I give good advice. I give good advice, right?

25 things every girl honestly wants
I mean, I think it’s 25, I didn’t actually count. I’m supposed to be writing my dissertation but I mean…a girl wants a break from that. Just clearing out my drafts, don’t mind me.
..
For carbs and fat to skip the waistline and go straight to boobs.
A guy who’s going to shut down any girl that tries to make small talk with him, and makes her feel like shit for attempting it.
The same guy to humiliate a girl who flirts with him, and make her cry for being a hoe.
For foundation to go on smooth and poreless the first time round after waking up with gloriously baby-like skin. So we can look like real life dolls before leaving the house.
To have skin that doesn’t break out upon contact with £2 lotion so we can have great skin and not break the bank
For all of our favourite TV series’ to NEVER END. Thus eradicating the lack of sense of purpose we feel when they do.
For the USA to just disappear off the face of the earth
For the OC to come back on tv.
Someone, partner or friend, who will defend us to the death and fight for us in whatever way possible, who will eradicate anything that hurts us and destroy anyone that causes us distress. Someone who is ready to ruin lives of people who wronged us 10 years ago.
A guy who is a prick to other girls because he doesn’t need or want them to like him. A real life partner in crime, whose entire life, every aspect is shared with us.
Bras that fit perfectly and don’t cost £500

10 'interesting' facts about myself.
*talks about the narcissism of people who take videos of themselves and upload selfies*
*posts 10 facts about themselves as if anybody cares*
Although, let’s be honest. Even if it’s a stranger or a blog you’ve literally just stumbled across, everybody likes to read random facts about someone. You have the really boring ones, like “my favourite colour is ____” and “my birthday is on ____” and you just think…why? What makes you think anybody is interested in that kind of information? It’s like… you’re giving people information about you without giving them an insight into what kind of person you are. That’s boring. But then you have the people who are like “I killed a man when I was 5” and “I have a recurring dream where I’m killing a man”.
I prefer giving people a little insight whilst also withholding vital information that allows one to think they know me. I’m fun at parties* (*I don’t go to parties).
I also, for some godforsaken reason, blog the post when I have approaching deadlines.
The anti-bucket list
Some of us have bucket lists. I used to have a bucket list – I mean a massive, massive bucket list. There were so many place I wanted to go, so many things I wanted to see and do, and try. And now I can’t remember a single thing that I had on there, probably because – and I know how hard this will be to believe – I was a dreamer once upon a time. Gasp. Yes, I used to spend days dreaming about the future and all the places in the world I wanted to go. I even got really specific like “eat at ____ and then go back to the ____ hotel in ___, _____ before getting ready again to watch ____ in the theatre”
But honestly, I’ve always believed that the best way to get to a know a person is to ask them about what they don’t like. What do you hate, what pisses you off? Anybody can say they want to go skydiving or adopt a child from a third world country. But it takes real thought, passion, and honesty to talk about what you hate.
But I thought I’d try and challenge myself since that’s way too easy; so here’s a list of
15 things I’ve never done and will never do:
1] Go to Paris
I hate France. Fuck France. I went to Calais once and it was shit, like really shit, like Birmingham shit. Except it’s racist too. Give us your croissants and piss off. Read more
Reasons your twenties aren’t so bad
I mean, I’m not qualified enough to talk about what it’s like being in your twenties, as I’ve only just about existed for over two decades. Two whole decades. Wow.
But life doesn’t change that much between 21 and 25 right? [It does]. I’m not a teenager anymore and, though I still live with my parents and have yet to finish my degree and start adulting, I feel ready for adulthood. In my mind, I am a fully grown 27 year old woman. Where are my children.
Basically, your early 20s are great. Because you’re an adult [yeah, you still can’t sit with the adults when you’re 18], BUT you’re not adult enough to do the adult things required of a 25 year old. Like have a stable career and 65 children. You’re an adult but you’re still forgiven for being a child. Amazing. Let’s begin. Read more
